Altura by Shore
Perched above the break, carved into the cliff face. A glass-bottom pool suspended over terraced gardens that fall toward the sand. Off-form concrete, white render, and ocean on three sides.
The upper level opens entirely floor-to-ceiling glass framing the coastline from kitchen to horizon. Below, a sculptural staircase winds through planted terraces to a lower entertaining level with fire pit, lounge, and a second water feature tucked beneath the pool. Every level steps with the land, not against it.
From the street, restrained. Clean volumes, natural stone, and a single pivoting entry. From the water, the full scale reveals itself — three storeys of architecture embedded into the headland, reading as landscape as much as building.
